Armed with my trusted colour-card (showing colours that match my complexion) I went to Den Bosch today for a little fabric shopping. What I needed was just a bit of black canvas cotton for my Anarquendor Dress Robes.

The best part of my job is not the part where they push free fabrics onto me, but it's a close second. I love my job, even if I don't get to work on the pretty dresses (yet). But the part where I get free fabrics ( or shoes)...that's very nice!

I don't mind getting presents from my internship at all...especially when it's fabric!

It's a piece of fabric of undetermined length, cut in two pieces from a blouse-weight printed cotton with no stretch. The print appeals to my totem too.

I'm still wondering what to make of it. Ideas?

Lots of Anarquendor there today; it was definitely a sign that people are anxious to start on their costume for Drachenfest.
I don't have much money to spare, so I did not buy the lovely violet wool nor the thin green one that both went for five euro per meter.

It was coupon day at Schröder and I picked up some lovely ends-of-bolts. Of course I couldn't resist the wools.

I had to pick up fabrics for Mayor Raphael's costume. I had planned on a poly-taffeta (that people refuse to believe is not silk, but is sold for three bucks a meter on the market) and a thick cotton but I ended up with a poly-taffeta and a cotton-linnen blend in the perfect chocolate shade of brown.
